Representatives of BIO4 Campus and C4IR Serbia had the opportunity to represent the Republic of Serbia at BioAsia 2025, one of the leading international events in the field of biotechnology and life sciences. Organized by the Government of Telangana, India, the conference took place from February 24 to 26 under the theme “Catalysts of Change: Expanding Global Healthcare Frontiers.”

The event brought together senior stakeholders from industry, academia, and government to discuss global trends in biopharmaceuticals, digital health, medical devices, and precision medicine. In addition to the main program, participants had the opportunity to visit Genome Valley, India’s flagship life sciences cluster, and gain insights into its development model and future ambitions.

As part of C4IR Serbia’s official presentation, a member of the BIO4 Campus team participated in the workshop “Accelerating the Tech-Driven Bioeconomy”, co-hosted by the World Economic Forum and C4IR Telangana. The visit also included a significant bilateral meeting with Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, focused on exploring potential avenues for collaboration.

Serbia’s presence at BioAsia highlights its growing role in international efforts related to artificial intelligence, biotechnology, regulatory innovation, and the sustainable growth of the global bioeconomy. It also contributes to the global visibility of the BIO4 Campus, while supporting the ongoing development of its Core Facilities through strategic partnerships and knowledge exchange.
