BIO4 Campus at BIO-Europe Fall 2025: Serbia Present at Europe’s Leading Biotech Event

06/11/2025

From November 3 to 5, BIO4 Campus took part in BIO-Europe Fall 2025 in Vienna — the largest biotechnology partnering event in Europe. This high-level forum brought together thousands of professionals from across the life sciences sector, including researchers, startups, pharmaceutical companies, venture capital funds, and innovation hubs from around the world.

This year marked a milestone for BIO4 Campus: for the first time, we had our own dedicated booth at the event. As a platform for visibility and networking, the booth gave us the opportunity to present the BIO4 story, share materials, and hold focused discussions with international stakeholders interested in collaborating with institutions from Serbia.

Over the course of three days, our team participated in dozens of one-on-one meetings, engaged in insightful conversations across the exhibition floor, and introduced potential partners to what makes BIO4 Campus a unique initiative: a national effort to unite science, industry, and government around biotechnology, biomedicine, bioinformatics, and biodiversity.

Alongside BIO4 Campus, three scientific institutes and one faculty also took part in the event, contributing their expertise and energy to a shared vision:

  • Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia
  • Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” (IBISS)
  • Institute for the Application of Nuclear Energy (INEP)
  • Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade

Together, we demonstrated not only the scientific strength of our institutions, but also the shared vision that underpins the BIO4 Campus project — to create a collaborative environment where ideas can move from research to real-world solutions.

BIO-Europe Fall 2025 was a chance to strengthen our international presence, build new connections, and position BIO4 Campus — and Serbia — as a serious and active player in the European biotech landscape.
