BIO4 Campus at BIO Spain in Barcelona: Strengthening Ties with the Spanish Biotech Ecosystem

11/10/2025

BIO4 Campus took part in BIO Spain as part of the Tecnalia2BIO4 project, using the event as a platform to deepen engagement with Spain's biotech ecosystem and advance ongoing collaboration activities.

BIO4 Campus led a delegation of tenant institution representatives, including the Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Pharmacy, the Institute for the Application of Nuclear Energy (INEP), and the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" (IBISS). Together, the delegation presented the scientific and innovation capabilities of the BIO4 ecosystem to Spanish biotech stakeholders.

Advancing the Tecnalia2BIO4 partnership

Participation at BIO Spain also served as an important working session for the Tecnalia2BIO4 project. The event provided an opportunity to shape future joint activities, identify concrete areas for cooperation, and strengthen long-term connections between Serbian and Spanish research and innovation communities.

By engaging directly with Spanish partners in a major industry setting, BIO4 Campus continues to position itself as a regional platform for international collaboration — connecting local scientific expertise with European biotech networks and building the partnerships that will support translational research, knowledge exchange, and cross-border innovation.
