At the ChemInno 2026 conference in Belgrade on May 5, a BIO4 Campus representative took part as a panelist in the opening session, highlighting the importance of stronger connections between science, technology, and industry.

The discussion emphasized the role of integrated innovation ecosystems in advancing life sciences — an approach embodied by BIO4 Campus. A key message to young researchers: BIO4 is designed as a strategic platform to support the entire journey from idea to market, providing guidance, infrastructure, and access to industry partners at every stage of development.

Creating synergy through co-location

The Campus will host research institutes, faculties, startup companies, and R&D centers, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration and knowledge transfer. This co-location enables synergy between academia and industry, fostering innovation development and accelerating the valorization of scientific discoveries.

BIO4 Campus plays a role in strengthening Serbia's capacity to participate in international research initiatives, including Horizon Europe, while also attracting investments and building partnerships with leading global players in the life sciences sector.

ChemInno is establishing a platform for B2B collaboration by systematically gathering and communicating industry needs directly to the research community. By translating real-world challenges into research opportunities, this approach aligns with BIO4 Campus's strategy of bridging science and industry and accelerating innovation with tangible impact.
