During Health and Wellbeing Week at Expo 2025 Osaka, the BIO4 Campus delegation joined a global conversation on the future of life sciences and health innovation under the Expo's central theme: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives."

The visit began with the Republic of Serbia's Investment Conference, where BIO4 Campus was presented as a strategic national initiative contributing to Serbia's scientific and innovation agenda — emphasizing the country's commitment to international collaboration, research excellence, and sustainable growth.

Global perspectives on health innovation

Throughout the week, the delegation — joined by representatives from several BIO4 tenant institutions — took part in Expo programs focused on longevity, personalized medicine, and future healthcare models. A standout moment was the visit to the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, "Nest for Reborn," featuring interactive exhibits on telemedicine, regenerative therapies, infection control, and nature-integrated design centered on longevity-driven living.

The team also participated in AGEVITY Japan 2025, an international longevity forum held at the Italian Pavilion and organized by Assolombarda and the Silver Economy Network, bringing together global experts to discuss ageing populations, health technologies, and long-term sustainability.

The visit concluded with Japan Health 2025, an international exhibition on medical technology and health innovation at INTEX Osaka, connecting medical device manufacturers, startups, research institutions, and public agencies.

The Expo visit provided the delegation with a comprehensive view of global trends in biotech, health innovation, and longevity — from national strategies to emerging technologies and international cooperation models. Aligned with the Expo's core pillars — Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, and Connecting Lives — the visit reflected BIO4 Campus's ambition to drive innovation, foster international collaboration, and help shape a more connected and resilient life sciences ecosystem.
