BIO4 Campus participated in the Global Medical Equipment Plaza 2026 (GMEP 2026), held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from March 19–20. The BIO4 representative attended as part of the Serbian delegation, organized by the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

GMEP 2026 is one of Korea's largest specialized exhibitions for medical devices and hospital facilities, bringing together innovators and industry experts from across the globe. The exhibition provided insight into the latest advancements in digital healthcare, diagnostic equipment, and dental technologies.

Smart healthcare and digital transformation

The event showcased developments in smart healthcare systems, robotic medicine, eco-friendly medical waste solutions, advanced hospital infrastructure and design, integrated medical IT systems, and automotive technologies for rapid patient transport. The exhibition featured over 350 Korean companies, including an Innovative Medical Device Showcase with live demonstrations and on-site consultations.

Building pathways for collaboration

During the event, BIO4 Campus held more than 20 meetings with companies specializing in medical and electronic devices, software as a medical device (SaMD), AI-powered digital solutions, smart hospital systems, self-diagnostic medical devices, and applications for well-being. These discussions highlighted strong interest in the Serbian market and opened opportunities for future collaboration in innovation, technology transfer, and manufacturing.

The participation reinforced BIO4 Campus's role in connecting Serbia's life sciences ecosystem with international partners and advanced healthcare technologies.
