BIO4 Campus took part in the first round of economic partnership negotiations between Serbia and South Korea, held in Seoul from December 1st to 4th. Vladimir Bojković, Legal Affairs Manager at BIO4 Campus, represented the organization as part of Serbia's national delegation, contributing to the biotechnology segment of the discussions.

The negotiations mark an important step toward establishing a comprehensive economic cooperation agreement between the two countries. South Korea is recognized as one of the most technologically advanced economies globally, with significant strengths in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, and life sciences innovation.

"The conclusion of a comprehensive economic cooperation agreement will enable broad connectivity and collaboration between the domestic biotech ecosystem and one of the most developed and technologically advanced economies in the world," said Vladimir Bojković.

A formal agreement would create pathways for Serbian institutions, researchers, and companies to engage with Korean partners in areas aligned with BIO4 Campus's mission — supporting knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and long-term partnerships that strengthen Serbia's position in the global biotech landscape.

The negotiations will continue in subsequent rounds, with the goal of finalizing a framework for cooperation across multiple sectors.
