BIO4 Campus Joins WHO–MPP mRNA Technology Transfer Mission to Serbia
05/09/2026

Representatives of BIO4 Campus joined discussions at the Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera "Torlak" as part of the WHO–MPP mRNA Technology Transfer Programme mission to Serbia.
The programme supports the development of sustainable mRNA vaccine manufacturing capabilities. Torlak is actively participating in the technology transfer process, moving from training into practical implementation, a significant step for Serbia's biomanufacturing capacity.

Connecting established institutions with emerging infrastructure
BIO4 Campus presented its current development and future infrastructure, focusing on how Torlak's expertise can connect with the broader BIO4 ecosystem. The conversation moved beyond individual projects toward the longer-term picture: strengthening R&D and biomanufacturing, creating pathways for national and international collaboration, and building capacity that translates scientific knowledge into practical application.
For BIO4, this is the kind of connection that matters. Bringing together established national institutions, emerging research infrastructure, international expertise, and new technologies is precisely how a stronger life sciences ecosystem gets built, not through individual efforts, but through structured collaboration between the right players.
