BIO4 Campus Launches Industry Relations Team Initiative
26/02/2026

BIO4 Campus presented the Industry Relations (IR) Team initiative to faculty deans, institute directors, and delegated TTO representatives from across the ecosystem.
The IR Team will be launched through a public call and is designed to serve as a structured connecting point between science and industry within the BIO4 ecosystem. Its purpose is to move conversations toward clearly defined projects, sponsored research, and long-term partnerships — with transparent processes and defined responsibilities.
Bridging research and industry with clear structure
For research institutions, the IR Team creates stronger pathways from laboratory results to application. For industry partners, it provides clearer access to expertise, capabilities, and collaboration models that are predictable and professionally managed.
The IR Team reflects a broader principle: listening to both the institutions within BIO4 and the market in which they operate. Strengthening industry collaboration requires clear structure, shared standards, and continuous improvement.

Learning from international best practices
In the same session, a representative of Tecnalia Research & Innovation presented the upcoming strategic visit to the Basque Country within the Tecnalia2BIO4 framework, focused on benchmarking advanced models of research–industry collaboration.
