29/01/2026

BIO4 Campus presented its vision, mission, and international ambitions to the diplomatic network of the Republic of Serbia during an online presentation organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

To ensure global accessibility, the presentation was delivered in two sessions covering eastern and western time zones, bringing together 101 participants from Serbian diplomatic and consular missions worldwide.

Positioning Serbia's life sciences ecosystem globally

The presentation introduced BIO4 Campus as Serbia's largest and most ambitious science and innovation project, bringing together leading research institutes, universities, and industry partners in life sciences, biotechnology, biomedicine, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence.

Discussions focused on BIO4's strategic role in positioning Serbia as a regional hub for biotechnology and innovation, as well as the importance of international cooperation, science diplomacy, and global partnerships for the further development of the Campus and the wider national innovation ecosystem.

Building international presence through diplomatic engagement

The session provided an opportunity to align BIO4's international outreach with Serbia's diplomatic network — a key resource for connecting with research institutions, industry partners, funding bodies, and innovation ecosystems worldwide.

BIO4 Campus thanks the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and all participating diplomatic and consular representatives for their engagement and valuable exchange. The collaboration strengthens BIO4's capacity to build international partnerships and expand Serbia's presence in global life sciences innovation.
