BIO4 HPC Workshop

As part of the advanced seminar, participants will have the opportunity to attend a demonstration of sequenced genome analysis using the national HPC infrastructure. Teams from IMGGE, the Office for IT, and NVIDIA will present specific tools and methods, including EasyBuild installation, GPU usage for analysis, and real project examples. After the technical segment, a cocktail reception is planned for informal networking with partners from the research and technology community.

The seminar offers practical training for researchers already working with large biomedical datasets who wish to enhance their skills in working on a supercomputing platform. Another goal is to establish a network of HPC resource users within the BIO4 Campus, as well as foster collaboration between resident institutions.
