InnoLeaders Serbia: Strengthening Innovation Leadership
23/11/2025

Innovation ecosystems do not scale without strong leadership. BIO4 Campus took part in the INNOLEADERS Serbia on-site training program in Munich, focused on strengthening leadership capacities across Serbia's innovation ecosystem.
The program brought together experts from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), UnternehmerTUM, investors, researchers, and ecosystem practitioners. Through lectures, discussions, and visits to innovation centers, participants explored how Munich developed into a leading European innovation hub — examining ecosystem governance, incubation practices, and sustainable innovation models.
Building capacity for ecosystem development
Implemented by NALED in cooperation with the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and TUM International, the INNOLEADERS Serbia program supports long-term ecosystem development by equipping key actors with the skills and knowledge needed to drive innovation at institutional and systemic levels.
For BIO4 Campus, participation in the Munich training contributed to ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and apply global best practices within Serbia's biotech and innovation landscape. As BIO4 continues building a collaborative ecosystem, understanding how mature innovation hubs operate — from governance structures to stakeholder alignment — provides valuable reference points for shaping its own development path.
